Shocking news: 4 Rangers transfer headlines as Albion Rrahmani asking price drops and Conway bids land

Philippe Clement has already confirmed one of his Rangers fringe players will be out the door this summer.

Ianis Hagi has not kicked a ball for the club for some time having played on loan at Alaves last season and he’s been told he’s free to find a new club after a discussion between the player, club and his agent. The Light Blues may be in Poland for their Champions League qualifier against Dynamo Kyiv but Nils Koppen, the recruitment chief, will likely be busy with his work as he attempts to spearhead the revamp alongside the manager.

Football Scotland picks out a handful of the transfer headlines from inside Ibrox this afternoon as the incomings and outgoings continue – or certainly get set to pick up.

Clement revealed in his pre-match presser this evening that the Romanian will leave. “Is he part of my plans? No, we had clear talks before the pre-season with his agents about that. We need to look, like I said, at a lot of things in the club about wages, how many you can have in a position with the budget we have and to get the budget to get transfers.

Speaking of upping the money, the Kosovo striker at Rapid Bucharest has reportedly seen his price tag drop as the club consider selling this summer.

He’d initially been priced at close to £6million but that, according to local reports in Romania, has dropped to around £5million. That may still be a tad rich for Gers’ coffers, but it’s a drop at least and one for Koppen and Clement to consider should they still wish to do business.

Another day, another link. This time it’s a fresh link to a club who previously were “interested”. Football Scotland understands Cardiff City are NOT interested in the midfielder who wants to leave Glasgow.
