Philippe Clement’s record against Celtic could become a “huge problem” for Rangers chiefs, sources have told Football Insider.
The Belgian is still winless against the Light Blues’ Old Firm rivals in five games after losing 3-0 away from home on Sunday (1 September).

Sources say Clement’s record in the derby clashes is becoming problematic for Ibrox chiefs, who are otherwise fully behind the Belgian.
Football Insider revealed on Monday (2 September) that Rangers will not make a kneejerk decision on sacking Clement after their poor start to the new season.
It is believed the 50-year-old is still seen as the man for the future at Ibrox.

However, sources say Clement will find his position under scrutiny if his record doesn’t improve in Old Firm games and the gap doesn’t close to Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.
Rangers are already five points adrift of their Glasgow rivals after just four games.

Rangers
Clement was handed a new contract with the Gers last month which runs until the summer of 2028.
He has won 33 of his 50 games since taking over from Michael Beale in October 2023.
