What the Norwich City fans are saying after Adam Idah admits he wants to join Celtic

Now that Adam Idah has admitted he wants to leave Norwich City and join Celtic, it should make the deal to get him to Parkhead a lot easier.

 

The Republic of Ireland international was a huge hit with the Celtic support last season after goals against Rangers in the Scottish Premiership and the Scottish Cup helped seal a double for Brendan Rodgers.

The Celtic manager is a huge fan of Idah and very keen to bring him to Glasgow and as Norwich and Celtic look to thrash out a deal, we discussed this morning how the 22-year-old told The Canaries he wants to leave Norwich and join Celtic this summer.

 

And as that news sunk in, the Norwich fans made their feelings perfectly clear on what they thought of that.

 

Celtic told to ‘meet the valuation’ for Adam Idah

The Norwich fans seem to be fine with the big Irishman wanting to leave and head to Glasgow and it seems that Celtic only need to do one thing:

Another fan wasn’t surprised and just urged Celtic to pay the money his club wants, “We knew this ages ago, this isn’t new news. Pay the fee and they can have him, really simple.” whilst another fan doesn’t blame Idah for wanting out, “In no way surprised. Don’t blame him in the slightest to want to get out.”

The Celtic fans, however, were absolutely delighted at this update with many on the thread urging the club to get the deal over the line.

Idah is undoubtedly a popular player not only in the Parkhead dressing room but in the stands with the Celtic fans too.

If Brendan Rodgers can get this deal over the line, it would give the supporters a massive boost heading into the 2024 Summer Tour of the USA.
