Rangers have been hit with a five-figure UEFA fine for an off-field issue during their Champions League playoff clash with Dynamo Kyiv.
The Ibrox club were slapped with a £12k punishment from the August 13 fixture at Hampden Park. It was a disappointing result on the night as they lost 2-0 to tumble out of the competition and into the the Europa League with a 3-1 aggregate loss. Their misery has now been compounded by the governing body’s decision to issue a fine for “blocking of public passageways” under Article. 38 of their regulations.
