BREAKING NEWS: 5 Rangers transfer headlines as 2 targets find clubs, star ‘nears’ exit and Jack sets tongues wagging

After seeing their starting XIs against both Hearts and Dynamo Kyiv, Rangers fans want more new signings.

They are likely to get them before the summer transfer window is out but nothing seems to be imminent at the moment. So far, Phillipe Clement has made eight signings – Robin Propper, Hamza Igamane, Jefte, Clinton Nsiala, Connor Barron, Liam Kelly, Oscar Cortes and Vaclav Cerny.

One man who won’t be joining them is Tyrese Campbell. The striker was available on a free transfer after leaving Stoke and Gers were linked after previously showing interest four years ago. But there was other interest from the English Championship and he’s now set to sign for Sheffield United.

So Campbell isn’t Ibrox-bound, and neither is Scott McKenna. Another free agent, the Scotland defender was often mentioned for both Rangers and Celtic but he has now made the switch to Spain with La Liga outfit Las Palmas, where he will team up with another Scotland international in Oli McBurnie.

Gers are actively looking to move more fringe men on after getting rid of the likes of Sam Lammers and Connor Goldson, after which they might be in a position to make more signings. Ianis Hagi is one of them after his loan at Alaves.

Despite the Light Blues needing funds, there has now been a claim the Romanian winger could leave for FREE despite previously being on the verge of a £3million move to Fiorentina. Tuttomercatoweb are reporting that’s a potential avenue to drum up interest in the player, and it would still certainly help by getting him off the wage bill.

Todd Cantwell rocked Rangers by handing in a transfer request a number of weeks ago. And it is now being claimed Trabzonspor are lining up a move after already signing Borna Barisic and John Lundstram from the blue.
