Former Chicago Bears safety Owens agreed to a one-year contract with the Indianapolis Colts. His agent, Sunny Shah, confirmed the agreement.

Owens joins the team after spending two seasons with the Chicago Bears.

His wife, Simone Biles, shared her inner feelings on social media. She posted a message to her followers to celebrate the career move. She said there were “no friday the 13th scaries here”. She also said she is “so proud” of her husband. The couple is ready for Indiana.

Jonathan Owens’ Signing Coincided With A Personal Milestone For Simone Biles

Biles, who has won seven gold medals in Olympic, celebrated her 29th birthday on Friday (March 14). She shared photos of a dinner featuring a custom ice-sculpture. Biles marveled at how fast time passed and said she felt like she was just 19. She wore an elegant dress for the evening and held a colorful handbag.

While Owens arrives, the franchise is making other massive changes. The Colts gave quarterback Anthony Richardson permission to seek a trade. This follows the team signing Daniel Jones to a lucrative agreement. Reports suggest the Green Bay Packers might monitor Richardson. The Packers are in the market for an elite candidate after losing Malik Willis. Willis earned a massive payday with the Miami Dolphins. Although Richardson has an injury history, he is still only 23. Coach Matt LaFleur might find him a perfect example for his system.

Indianapolis also signed Juanyeh Thomas on the same day to bolster the defense. Keep in mind, Owens brings experience with 295 career tackles and two interceptions. He played for the Missouri Western Griffons before his professional career.
